Seems to be keeping water clear
It seems as if the baffle at the outflow should be higher, there is a very high baffle at the rear where the water enters, then the water goes over that one and into a chamber with the filter media, but the baffle at the front is only about 2 inches high (large slot cut out in bulkhead) and there is not enough water retained in the body of the urn to even get close to the top of the ceramic filter media. Is this the way it's supposed to be?

LøVë it!
Took a little while for it to be delivered but worth the wait. The external box packing protected the product and the manufacturer packed the product well. It took me only minutes to setup. I was unable to attach a photo. But my frog loves it too.

Clear water
We had new pond syndrome. After adding the Aquascape urn, our pond transitioned from pea green to crystal clear in about 10 days. Other helpful products - Aquascape Maintain, Pawfly Air Stone, Pondmaster PMK190 (removed fountain head), TotalPond Vinyl 1/2-inch tubing.

Worth the money
I bought this as a replacement for a clay urn I I drilled and put into service eleven years ago. This fiberglass filter is a worthy replacement, I use it downstream of a pressurized bio filter but stuffed this one with pot scrubbies, retained the included Japenese mat and added Puro-Kleen at the out flow making it a bio/mechanical filter. Porous ceramic tubes in a mesh bag were included for bio filtration which I opted not to use (replaced with pot srcubbies that offer high surface area, clog resistance and are easily stackable) a much needed reducer - 3/4 inch tube for out flow, a barbed reducer and (?mm) tubing to the filter. Standard 1/2 inch black kink free tubing doesn't fit the filter but the short piece of included braided clear tubing does. Instructions say to use a 400 gph max pump while I have it hooked up to a 700 gph one in a 280 gal.pond. Mine is split to an aerator and the filter with no probs. Recommended but as with most pond things a visit to a good hardware store before installation may be necessary.

Nice filter system for small pond.
Like the ease of use & the nice water running out of urn effect. The feeder hose attached at the back of the urn and a little challenging to conceal it so it’s not so obvious. Overall I am pleased with this filter urn.

Exactly as described. Neck could be a couple inches longer for better pouring

Love it!
The media could not be loaded. This filter has worked perfectly so far! Keeps my little pond crystal clear, and it’s beautiful to look at and listen to! It has both mechanical and plenty of biological media. But mind you… you will need to buy a pump separately … a 500-550 GPH works very well.

Get it!
Of all the we tried, this works the best! Just give it a little time in the beginning and once it clears up. Enjoy, a virtually maintenance free pond!
